Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate body water distribution differences of the lower limbs in hemiparetic patients.

Methods: Body water distribution differences of the both lower limbs were analysed by bioelectrical impedance analysis(INBODY BS1, Biospace, seoul, Korea) and ambulatory level was classified using Functional Ambulation Category(FAC).

Results: In this study, there was significant difference in body water distribution of lower limbs and was no significant association between FAC and difference of lower limbs body water.

Conclusions: Body water loss of paretic side was observed in hemiparetic patients who had gait disability. More continuous studies about pathological change of hemiparetic patients and various methods for analysis body composition have to be performed.
